Edinburgh fringe launch 2009
Fringe fever starts here yes It’s that time of the year again when all thoughts and aspiration turn to Edinburgh and the comedy version of Mecca for the month of August starts now.
We kick off with high lights from last year’s fringe in a montage of clips from the very successful fridge. Unlike previous years the recession has forced some acts not to come or to cut short their time in Edinburgh ,but taking a look at the programme and you will see that there are more acts than last year.The world's largest arts festival features 2,098 shows from 60 different countries, brought to the stage by 18,901 performers. Names who are coming denise van Outen, Clive James, Christopher Biggins and Jimmy Carr.
